Ricardo Roca de Vinyals (Barcelona, 1905 - 1959). He earned a Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery in 1929 and a doctorate in 1941. He was the Head of Services at the Policlinic Institute of Barcelona (Platón Clinic), Head of Laboratory at the Spanish Red Cross, Doctor-Head of Laboratory at the Cancer Service at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, and Head of Laboratory at the Municipal Neurology Institute of Barcelona. He participated in numerous national and international congresses. He studied anatomopathologies in the field of neurology along with Dr Ley and Dr Subirana, which had major repercussions in the world of science in the 1950s.
